Our Nachas Club, made up of grandparents and special relatives, hosted a film event in support of the Siddur Fund, raising money for the Junior edition for Grades 1-4.

"Baeck 4 More" - Parent/Teacher Musical Production

The Leo Baeck Parents’ Association presents "Baeck 4 More": This fourth adult/staff ‘salute to broadway’ performance is a significant fund and spirit-raiser for our school.  If you want quality entertainment, come and join us this year at the Starbaecks Dinner Theatre! Leo Baeck staff members and 28 parents are working diligently under the direction of Robin Perlmutter, musical director who also operates the Toronto Youth Music Theatre Company (TYMTC) and our very own Michael Levinsky, North Campus Middle School Language Arts and Drama teacher and North Campus Middle School Coordinator, to bring you three shows on January 31 (2:30 and 7:00) and February 1 (7:00), 2010.  Buy your tickets on the school website and/or take this opportunity to advertise your company with great exposure to hundreds of patrons!  Proceeds go to the school's Arts, Athletics, and Technology Funds.

Rosh Chodesh

Jewish tradition provides a number of opportunities for celebration. When the new Hebrew month falls on a school day, we note the occasion with a Rosh Chodesh service. Tefillah is led by students, Torah is read by students and each service has a guest who delivers a D'var Torah. This is a wonderful opportunity to honour a student, family member or commemorate a simcha/special occasion.
