How does the Parents’ Association provide the programs and services that make a difference at Leo Baeck?
FUNDRAISING!
The LBPA has an active Fundraising Committee dedicated to raising funds in an efficient, creative and service-oriented way. Due to successful fundraising programs in the past years, the LBPA has contributed large sums of money to benefit programs within the school. Last year, the LBPA raised $85,000 for the school’s Arts, Athletics and Technology Funds.
The LBPA’s Fundraising programs enable you to help our school strive towards a new level of excellence.
What is planned for this year?
- The Leo Baeck 2011-2012 Calendar
The Calendar is a major fundraising tool for the Parents’ Association and a means of communicating important school dates/events and LBPA activities. The calendar is printed early each May and distributed to the parent body, staff and board of trustees at the end of June.
The Committee sells advertising space to corporate advertisers within the parent body and to the community at large. School and LBPA suppliers are solicited and promoted in a special “thank you” section. The parent body to offer greetings throughout the year purchases family ads/greetings and nachas boxes. This project raised $20,000.

This cookbook is filled with fabulous recipes from LB students, parents, grandparents and staff. This is an ongoing fundraiser that makes a great gift for any occasion and should be a staple in any LB household!
