NEW! Order Your 2010/2011 School Supplies Online!
Get all your school supplies online - but only for a short time! This exciting new service is convenient, competitively priced and also ensures that uniform supplies will be used in classrooms.
Ordering will only be available June 16th to June 30th. Orders will NOT be accepted after June 30th.
All orders must be picked up from Leo Baeck on Wed. Sept. 1st, 3:00pm to 7:30pm, in the Philip Smith Foyer. If you are unable to pick up on this date, you must arrange to have someone else do so on your behalf as the school has no storage capacity.
SK and Grade 1 students will not require school supplies as they will be provided by Leo Baeck.

Volunteer Appreciation Reception - there's still time!

COMMUNITY SPOTLIGHT
Temple Sinai Congregation of Toronto, 210 Wilson Avenue, presents Kindermusik and KidzArt! Join us for four fun-filled Monday mornings for a combined Kindermusik and KidzArt program for toddlers and preschoolers. We start each day with a musical adventure and then get creative with a special craft project. Who knew learning was so much fun? For toddlers and preschoolers with a caregiver (loads of fun for grandparents too!).
Mondays July 5, 12, 19 and 26

The Leo Baeck Parents' Association wants to extend a heartfelt Thank You to everyone who volunteered this year.
Whether you served a lunch, went on a field trip, helped at an event, served at the holidays, chaired a committee or volunteered for hundreds of the other things the LBPA does, we appreciate it.
We know how precious time is and we wanted to let you know how much we value and appreciate the extra time and effort you have given to the LBPA this school year; we know the children are grateful as well.

Has a teacher or other LB staff member made a difference in the life of your child? Please remember that you can honour them in one of two ways:
1) With a Leo Baeck Tribute Card - For a minimum donation of $18.00 per card, to a fund of your choice, we will send the card on your behalf. Just visit the dedicated page on the website.
If you wish to order multiple cards, please contact Linda Abramsohn in the Development Office at 905-709-3636 x222.
2) By dedicating a Siddur in honour of a teacher/staff member. With a $36.00 donation to the Siddur Fund, a Siddur will be dedicated in their honour and included in our set of "guest Siddurim" at the campus of your choice. Thank you to the Events and Spirit Committee for a fabulous, fun filled, end of school family carnival!
2010/11 Calendar News: look for the brand-new stylish Leo Baeck Calendar in your youngest child's backpack end of next week!
Reminder: Friday June 18th is the last day for hot lunches!, and for Lost and Found items; they need to be claimed by June 18th or they will donated to charity!
And finally... A warm welcome to the new 2010-11 LBPA Chair. Joining Beth Litwin, we are delighted to welcome Jill Morris! We know that, together, they will do an excellent job. Congratulations!
Important Message Regarding Parking
Dear South Campus Parents,
I have been generally pleased with the improved compliance and the corresponding improvement in student safety on school property. Unfortunately, I continue to observe illegally parked vehicles on the streets adjacent to the school, particularly at the end of the school day. Please note that the only possible solution may be to engage local law enforcement in order to improve both the safety of our students and compliance with the parking regulations.
