IMPORTANT REMINDER: Lost and Found!
DEADLINE: Wednesday, June 23, 2010
On Wednesday, June 23, 2010, everything left in the Lost and Found will be DONATED TO CHARITY!
At this time, there are numerous lunch bags and assorted school supplies, such as textbooks, notebooks and pencil cases, that are waiting to be claimed!
ALL ITEMS must be removed before the school breaks for summer. Please check the Lost and Found now, before it's too late!

COMMUNITY SPOTLIGHT
Temple Sinai Congregation of Toronto, 210 Wilson Avenue, presents Kindermusik and KidzArt! Join us for four fun-filled Monday mornings for a combined Kindermusik and KidzArt program for toddlers and preschoolers. We start each day with a musical adventure and then get creative with a special craft project. Who knew learning was so much fun? For toddlers and preschoolers with a caregiver (loads of fun for grandparents too!).
Mondays July 5, 12, 19 and 26
10.00 a.m. to 11.30 a.m.

Jewish Books and Music... Free? Sign Me Up!
Leo Baeck is a Core Implementation Partner of the PJ Library in York Region, a new initiative whereby Jewish books and music are lent by mail, for free, to Jewish families.
Sign up for The PJ Library in York Region and we'll send you a FREE, high-quality book or CD each month. This gift of stories and songs is sure to enrich your entire family.
Membership is free for Jewish families with children 6 months to 5 1/2 years living in York Region, but space is limited.

Honour a Teacher or LB Staff Member!
Has a teacher or other LB staff member made a difference in the life of your child? Please remember that you can honour them in one of two ways:
1) With a Leo Baeck Tribute Card - For a minimum donation of $18.00 per card, to a fund of your choice, we will send the card on your behalf. Just visit the dedicated page on the website.
If you wish to order multiple cards, please contact Linda Abramsohn in the Development Office at 905-709-3636 x222.
2) By dedicating a Siddur in honour of a teacher/staff member. With a $36.00 donation to the Siddur Fund, a Siddur will be dedicated in their honour and included in our set of "guest Siddurim" at the campus of your choice. Interested in being a Class Parent next year?
Why should you become a Class Parent?
The Class Parents for each class are the primary contact between the school and the parents in that class. They are notified by the school of all volunteer opportunities including field trips and in-class events as well as school events and information. It is a great way to meet other families and get involved with the school and the LBPA.
Whether you work full time, part time or are simply a busy parent, the time commitment is manageable. This is an excellent way to stay connected to your child's class and school events.
