Ronna Rubin
Ronna Rubin, a Montreal native, received her B.Com from McGill University and obtained her C.A. designation in 1982. Highlights of Ronna’s 30 year career include eight years as the Director of Finance for The Sports Network, and, most recently, six years as CFO of Knightstone Capital Management Inc. A Past President of the Leo Baeck Board of Directors, Ronna has been a member of the Board since 2001. Ronna currently Co-Chairs (with Nolan Grubert) the South Campus Renewal Committee. In previous years, Ronna has chaired the Personnel Committee and has served as a member of the Financial Review Committee, the Zita Gardner Special Initiatives Fund Committee, the Head Support Committee, the South Campus Committee, the Tuition Assistance Committee and the Committee on Directors. Ronna has also assisted in negotiating the current and previous Collective Bargaining Agreements with our teachers’ union. Ronna also volunteers with SickKids Hospital, UJA Federation Women’s Philanthropy and Holy Blossom Temple, of which she is a member. Ronna and Phil Smith are the parents of Jill (LB class of 2009) and Hailey (LB class of 2011).
