Mark Katz
Mark Katz is a Portfolio Manager in the Alternative Investments group of the Ontario Teachers´ Pension Plan, where he originates and manages assets including hedge funds, credit funds and direct investments. In addition to having significant experience in finance, law and corporate governance, working for an institution that serves over 295,000 teachers in Ontario gives Mark a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities currently facing teachers and our education system. Prior to joining OTPP, Mark was legal counsel at CIBC Capital Partners and a senior associate at Stikeman Elliott LLP. Mark obtained an MBA from the Schulich School of Business and a law degree from Osgoode Hall. He and his family are active members of Beth Shalom Synagogue and currently have one child attending Leo Baeck's South Campus.
