Marc Newburgh
Marc Newburgh is currently the Chair of the URJ Camp George Steering Committee, and has served on the Committee since 2007. Marc is active within the Reform Movement, having served as a former Vice President and current Board Member at Shaarei Beth El Congregation in Oakville. Marc is a current member of the CCRJ and the URJ Central District Council, as well as a current member of both the URJ NFTY and NFTY in Israel Committees. Marc served as a member of the search committee that recommended the hiring of Rabbi Noam Katz as the LBDS and URJ Camp George Dean of Jewish Living.
Originally from New York City, Marc is a Partner in Pinnacle Adjusters Group Inc., a leading firm of Independent Insurance Adjusters based in Toronto. Marc has been happily married to Cheryl for 26 years and is the proud father of Zach, a Camp George Alumni, NFTY President, Hillel Montreal President and Student Society of McGill University President and Jonathan also a Camp George Alumni, NFTY NEL Vice President and a student at McGill University.
