Alissa Train
Alissa Train is a teacher with the Toronto District School Board. She holds a B.Ed from the Faculty of Education at York University (1999) with a specialist in at risk youth. Alissa is presently a short listed Vice-Principal candidate with the TDSB. Alissa plays an active role as part of her school's administrative team. She works collaboratively to help develop the School Improvement Plan, and engage staff in collecting, organizing, and making sense of critical data in order to improve practice. Alissa continues to help build capacity within the Leo Baeck Day School. She has co-chaired both the North Campus events and after school programs, and is a member of the Leo Baeck Parent's Association Executive. Alissa and her family are members of Temple Sinai Synagogue. She and her husband David have two children Rebecca (9) and Seth (5) currently at Leo Baeck North campus.
