Code of Conduct
The Leo Baeck Day School is a very special place. It is an environment in which staff and students can enjoy learning and growing in an atmosphere where people care, have a sense of pride and strive for excellence. Our students will be taught proper behaviour and will be required to work and behave following the high standards of our school.
The Code of Conduct outlines the school's expectations of behaviour. Every member of the school community has the right to work, learn and play free from disruption by others. The school staff promotes responsibility, respect, civility and academic excellence in a safe learning and teaching environment. All members of the school community are expected to be courteous and considerate, to use appropriate language and behaviour and to show respect for the rights and property of others. The school and home must require proper behaviour and discuss rules with students. At the start of the school year, parents and students will be required to read and sign this Code of Conduct as a policy of the school.
